What this site is
A feature dictionary and comparison index. The goal is not to tell you that every checkbox is important. It is to explain what the checkbox changes and let you decide whether you need it.
A practical reference for the features buried inside converters, taggers, CD rippers, editors and audio utilities. What each feature does, when it matters, what can go wrong, and which tools actually claim or implement it.
64 feature definitions shown.

A check mark means the capability was verified in the current source set. A dot means not verified here, not “the app definitely cannot do it.” That distinction keeps the matrix useful instead of fictional.
EZ Audio Converter is made by Funi Labs, which also operates this reference. Its feature claims are held to the same rule: shipped/current implementation only. Planned work does not get a check mark.
Start here when a product page says something impressive but vague.
✓ = verified in our current source set. · = not yet verified here. This is intentionally stricter than marketing comparison tables.

Converters, taggers, rippers, editors and command-line frameworks are not interchangeable. The feature index makes those boundaries visible.
These are next to research and map. They are listed here so the project has a visible backlog instead of pretending the catalog is complete.
It can read FLAC as an input.
It can create FLAC as an output.
It can preserve or edit FLAC metadata correctly.
It can validate the file or compare decoded audio against an expected result.
A future format matrix on this site will track those separately instead of giving a useless single “FLAC ✓”.
Checked September 14, 2026. Product capabilities change, so mappings should be rechecked before making a purchase decision.
EZ Audio Converter mappings are based on its current private application repository and implemented feature contracts rather than its marketing copy.
